Ambassador Says UAE Will soon lift Lebanon shuttle Ban-NNA

BEIRUT — The United Arab Emirates will soon carry a ban on its residents travelling to Lebanon, Lebanese state media cited the UAE's ambassador to Lebanon as asserting on Tuesday.

"The lifting of the ban on Emiratis touring to Lebanon will come quickly," Lebanon's NNA quoted Hamad Saeed al-Shamsi as telling journalists after assembly Lebanese overseas Minister Gebran Bassil.

The UAE's close ally Saudi Arabia said in February it turned into lifting its personal advice to citizens now not to commute to Lebanon, the place Gulf tourism turned into once a mainstay of the now struggling financial system.
